Carol Townsend

Who is Carol Townsend?

Carol started acting at an early age, when she played Tigger in a grade school production of Winnie the Pooh.  Her acting career was put on hold for a few years when she entered the workplace as a COBOL programmer, rose through the corporate ranks, weathered mergers, acquisitions and layoffs, promotions and transitions.  Finally, after over 20 years in corporate America, Carol was mercifully made redundant from her "real job", and decided to once again try her hand at acting.

In 2006, Carol burst onto the small screen with numerous appearances as an extra in season one of the FOX television show, Prison Break.  Carol appeared in five episodes of Prison Break in eight different roles including vice-presidential aide, prosecuting attorney, restaurant patron, secret service agent, and reporter.

After experiencing the rush of acting once more, Carol decided to pursue more acting roles on television, in movies, and on the stage.  She made appearances on the NBC television show ER and the short-lived (may Patrick Swayze rest in peace) A&E television show, The Beast.  On the big screen, Carol has appeared in a number of films including: The StripFred ClausThe Dark KnightWitless ProtectionAndanteMiss OhioThe VisionCrossing the LakeWhen I'm Alone, and The Dilemma.

On stage, Carol has acted in numerous productions including: The Wizard of Oz (2006)Movin' Right Along (2006)The Memory of Water (2007)It Runs in the Family (2007)The Crucible (2007)Hell Cab (2007)How the Other Half Loves (2008)Still Photos (2008)Key For Two (2009)Are You Being Served? (2010), Twisted Olive and Friends (2013) and many other small productions.

Carol is a Product Ambassador with Signature Marketing and Total Talent, and performs with The Mystery Shop in several of their adult and children's mystery shows.  Finally, Carol also uses her acting talents to bring us all better healthcare by working as a standardized patient for Kaplan Medical and National University of Health Sciences.

This site is all about Carol, her many roles and activities.
