Votes for Women and Nothing Less

Greetings fans!

I know you probably have many competing opportunities for celebrating Women's History Month, so lock this into your calendars early!  One weekend only, on March 17 - 19, Carol will be portraying Susan B. Anthony in Votes for Women and Nothing Less. Some die hard fans may be experiencing deja vu, and thinking this title sounds familiar.  You would be right!  Carol had a part in this same play back in 2011. This drama tells that tale of BFFs Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony (I love her dollars!), as they fight the power and work to bring women the right to vote.

Tickets are $10 for Adults, $8 for Children ages 14-18, or $5 for Children 14 and under.

Performances are March 17, 18, and 19
Friday 7:30 pm, Saturday 3:00 pm and 7:30 pm, and Sunday 3:00 pm.

Plaza Suite

We're back!  I realize it has been over a year since our last posting.  I guess that's what happens when life gets in the way.  Carol has been keeping busy this past year with many of her odd jobs, but less stage acting... until now!

Later this month, Carol returns to the familiar Gallery Theater stage with their production of Neil Simon's Plaza Suite, but this time with the double duty of both acting and directing!  Carol will be directing one act of this three act play, and appearing on stage in another.

"When and where can I witness this theatrical thunderbolt of talent; this dynamic dramatic directorial debut; this amazingly artistic emotional expression?!!", I hear you cry.

Show dates:  APRIL 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, MAY 1
Friday & Saturday shows are at 7:30 pm, Sunday shows at 3:00 pm

Always A Bridesmaid

Greetings fans, and welcome to 2015!  I trust your new year is off to a great start; but if you need a little injection of entertainment and comedy, mark your calendars to see Carol's upcoming show, Always a Bridesmaid.

This is the LOL comedic tale of four high school BFFs who make a promise on the night of their Senior Prom to be in each other's weddings.  Three decades later, these friends-for-life are still determined to honor that vow as they navigate the choppy waters of love and matrimony, committed to the notion that careers, waistlines and even marriages may disappear, but real friendships last a lifetime.  Carol plays Monette, a kinda flashy, kinda trashy, southern-to-the-bone flirt.  You won't want to miss it!

Where:  Gallery Theater  203 Turner Ct., West Chicago, IL 60185

When:    February 27, 28, March 1, 7, 8.  Friday & Saturdays 7:30 PM, Sundays 3:00 PM

Cost:      $12

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...   No, wait-- that's a different story.  But no less epic!

Where did the sun come from?  Why is it dark at night?  Where does the moon get its glow?  Do giraffes poop in the bush?  These, and other questions of the ages will be answered in Carol's upcoming show.  Come and witness Carol extend her acting range as she disappears into the role of Gemma Giraffe!  You won't believe your eyes!

A brand new site!

Greetings Fans!

hange is good, and it seemed like it was about time to change things up and build a new site.  That old shamrock green template may have been good for St. Patrick's Day, but every other day of the year, it was pretty awful.  If you're are feeling nostalgic and want to revisit the original fan site, you can use the link over there on the left, or click right here.

So, here we are with a new template, and a new web host.  Welcome!  Pull up a chair, stay a while.
